On Monday, June 10th Protect St Pete Beach Advocacy Group filed a legal challenge in Pinellas County Circuit Court to the City Commission’s approval of the TradeWinds project.
The Petition for Writ of Certiorari alleges that the City Commission failed to afford procedural due process, departed from the essential requirements of law, and failed to support its decision with competent substantial evidence. Petitioners seek issuance of a writ of certiorari quashing, setting aside, reversing or otherwise invalidating the Resolution 2023-27.
